About me

Hi. I’m Dr. Ada Ozoh. I’ve been practising medicine for about 14 years, 7 of which has been in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I love talking to women and helping them make informed decisions about their health.

Unfortunately, in a busy hospital setting there’s never enough time for your patients to get comfortable and really have the kind of discussions about their health that many women are just crying out for. To add to that, being in such a formal setting, sitting in front of a doctor with a white coat is not a relaxing experience for anyone.

I began this site so that I could talk about women’s health issues (especially related to menopause) in a more friendly and less pressured environment. After all, if you don’t like what you read, you can always leave (though I really hope you stay for a while at least).

Right now, I’m taking a little break from hectic hospital practice so that I can spend more time with my husband and children and boy!, are they happy about that!

I’m also a born-again Christian (or Committed Christian or whatever term you may like to use) striving for a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

I hope you find information here that you can use and perhaps modify to suit your own particular circumstances. If I can help you find a solution to any health issues you have or provide you with resources that help you take a decision that leaves you better off than when you came here, then I consider my job well done.

Please get in touch with me if you have any comments or criticism or questions. All are more than welcome.

  1. Hello Dr. Ozoh,

I ran across your blog while searching for similar blogs to my own. I have a blog on women’s issues for those of us over 50.

I would love to link to your blog and put it on my blogroll. I’m sure there is a lot you can offer!

I too am a Christian and welcome a Christian viewpoint in medicine.
