Acupuncture may help you get pregnant.
You may be more likely to get pregnant and have a baby from IVF if you have acupuncture before or after IVF.
A recent review of research and studies carried out on the relationship between acupuncture and pregnancy in 4 western countries showed that women who had acupuncture immediately before undergoing embryo transfer were more likely to get pregnant and twice as likely to deliver and have a live baby. This was compared to women who had sham acupuncture or no acupuncture at all. This means that 10 patients undergoing IVF would have to have acupuncture to achieve one extra pregnancy.
Acupuncture has not been known to have any serious harmful effects, so for women having IVF, it may not be a bad idea. Considering the stress and expense that is involved in undergoing IVF, any action or therapy that can increase the success rates without side effects would be very welcome.
how am i suppose to know whether im pregnant or not?? i took a lot of pregnancy tests, went to the hospital, and it still came out negative. Knowing the fact that ive watched a lot of TLC channels, where women tell their stories about how they never knew they were pregnant until they found out later on, which its a little bit late. but speaking of my condition and situation, i still long to finding answers to my condition. If im not pregnant i wonder what it is that stopping me from having my period. But yes, my breasts are tender, nipples are so sore, non stop ovulation, haven’t had my period for like 3 months now going on 4, my back is sore, but when ever i take the pregnancy tests it all came out negative, its pretty much disappointing and sad too. I really wanted to have kids. how am i suppose to get on acupuncture to getting myself pregnant if thats the case????
I dont understand want is happening.am in my mid 30s,i am growing fat,increase in breast size and continous breast tenderness.my abdomen is increasing everyday by day,severe waist pain and movement in my abdomen but negative pregnancy test result.pls what is happening to me?.
